Original Gold Coast Swap 2024

Another great swap. The numbers were a little down on last year, but it was still another successful swap meet. The committee would like to thank the few members that gave up three, two or even one day to help make the swap so successful for the benefit of our great club.

Histoty of the Gold Coast Swap

The first Original Gold Coast Swap was held at the Sundale Shopping Centre in Southport, this was followed by using the club room grounds at Mudgeeraba. In 1991 our club decided to hire stadium at the Carrara Sporting Complex. The next couple of years the same venue was used without hiring the stadium as it was very costly.
In 1996 the swap again changed venue and was moved to Parklands Showgrounds, Southport, these swaps were a multi-day event over two and three days. Unfortunately there was no swap in 2000 due to a problem within the club.
