| 18th | Annual Show and Shine - 18th May 2025 - please reply to this email by Thursday 15th May stating names of attendees, with vehicle(s) details, as we need to ensure we cater appropriately for your event.
The day will start at 09:00hrs at the club house voting, so please be at the clubhouse by 8:45 latest. You will be asked to park your vehicle(s) with others of similar era. Voting will start at 09:30 and hopefully complete by 10:00 when Peter Amey and a few volunteers will start counting.
As soon as possible after 10:00 we will go for a short run around the local roads and return for a light lunch, probably of chicken and salad. If you have any particular dietary requirements please let me know. The results of the voting will not be communicated until the Christmas Lunch scheduled for December. |
| 28th | Club Run 28th May - with a difference... Karen Hayes has organised for a representative of Fair Trading to give us a presentation at the Club House on scams. The presentation will cover romance, telephone and computer scams. The day will start at 09:30 for the presentation to commence at 10:00. Following the presentation there will be a run to a lunch venue that Karen has organised. The urn will be bubbling for tea and coffee in the morning but please BYO morning nibbles. A reminder will be sent closer to the 28th. |

| 11th | On Wednesday 11th June the MG Club have organised a Bruce Corr Memorial run. This will replace the usual Wednesday run our club organises.For those of you who may not have met Bruce, he was a long term member of this club and often attended our runs in his MGB GT. The run that the MG Club has organised is to start at the Arthur Earle Park on Ferry St, Nerang, meeting at 09:00hrs for an 09:30 start, ending at Seagulls League Club for lunch. Peter Amey has offered to coordinate our attendance with the MG Club. Please let Peter know via email by "replying all" to this email if you wish to attend. A reminder will be sent out later in May. |
