History of Autorama

The first Autorama was held on the 21/22 November 1970 and was a yearly event until 2000 when it was replaced by the three-day Shannon’s 2000 event which was hosted on the Gold Coast Antique Auto Club.
Autorame was re-introduced in 2001 and was back as a three-day event. One of the original requirements for this event that was that each year it would go in different directions from the start point and finish on the Sunday at different venues.
Between 2011 and 2019, the finishing venues for Sundays presentation lunch include Lisnager House, Murwillumbar, Nerang All Sports Club, Beaudesert Sports Club, Seagulls Football Club, Beenleigh Golf Club, Kingscliff Wolves Football Club, Tugun Bowls Club and The Italian Club.
For various reason beyond our control there has been no Autorama since 2019.
